5.1. Methodological overview

The learning process is based on the programed activities according to the sheduling included on Moodle. There will be included diverse theoretical and practical material, like references, bibliography and statements.

5.2. Learning tasks

Activity type 1 (theoretical lessons): 30 hours, 1 group of 50.

Activity type 3 (practical lessons): 30 hours 2 groups.

Activity type 4 (vistis): 10 horas 1 group of 50.

Activity type 6 (practical work): 40 hours.

Activity type 7 (self-study): 40 hours.

02. Housing and urban forms: from extensions to garden city
03. Modern tradition: typologies and agregation form
04. New extensions and residential places in the open urbanism

 

B. Places for working. Urban project, activities and productive places
05. From factories to industrial parks
06. Offices and new service sectors. Activities parks.
07. Tecnhologic districs and mixed used areas.

 

C. Places for leisure time. Project urban, open space and amenities. 
08. Characteristic collective places: street, squares, promenades and boulevards.
09. Urban "green" places: from parks to green corridors.
10. Open space systems and amenities: location, scale and form
 
D. Places for circulation. Urban project, road system and transport infraestructures.
11. Grids
12. Road system: hierarchy, parking, links and intersections
13. Transport infraestructures and urban form
14. Recapitulation: integrated urban projects and microurbanism

5.4. Course planning and calendar

Theory and methodology: some theoritical lesson wil be given focused at the begining of the course. Some useful examples for the students work will be shown and discussed during the lessons.
